My parents are coming to visit soon, so I had to clean up the semi-unpacked mess in the guest room. That included going through the baby clothes that I have here and deciding what is gender-neutral enough to keep, and what to pass on to my gazillion friends who are going to have boys in the next few months. (Okay...only three friends about to have boys, but it feels like a lot.)
I kept adding things to the "keep" pile and telling myself, "That can look feminine if I stick a bow in her hair..." Haha. We'll see if I actually put her in the helicopter pajamas or t-rex onesie.
Also, she probably won't even have enough hair for a bow until she's one.
But now that I think of it, DS was mistaken for a girl multiple times ("because he's so pretty," as strangers would say when I corrected them), so I might not even have to bother with the bows ![]()
Re: ramblings: my sentimental evening
Awww I'm the same way. I just can't bring myself to give certain items yet - even though I doubt LO#3 will gt much use out of a pink butterfly onesie.
Awwww, I am getting ready to get out our newborn clothes and go through them. I'm still torn between being excited that I am having another girl to get use out of the clothes, and being sad that I don't have an excuse to shop for a boy.
Oh, and I think little girls can totally rock a t-rex onesie, no problem!
