Big bathtub

Dd is 11 months old. And today we tried no baby tub. she likes laying down and we even had a mat but she was flopping around and crying and didn't like it and jept standing up. Is it too early?

    I've tried with DS a few times, the first couple of times he kept trying to stand up, but tonight he was having a great time splashing in the water.  Maybe it just takes some getting used to, but I don't think she'd be comfortable or feel safe laying in the tub, just try to get her to sit there.

    Thanks guys. She likes the baby tub because it has a bit of a wedge so when she lays down her head is above water. Ill give it a few more times

    My son did not do the big bathtub until he was 2 years old. We used a Primo Eurobath, but that is worked best for us when he was 6 months old to 2 years old.

Baby measured 9 weeks, still a heartbeat 12/23/09. Good NT Scan on 1/8/10, heartbeat 164. EDD 7/28/10. TEAM BLUE! Aidan Thomas born on May 26, 2010. Baby #2, BFP 11/27/11, EDD 6/5/12. TEAM PINK!     We got this bath seat for DD when we moved her from the sink to the regular bath tub at about 8 months old.  She transitioned fine and loves the big bath tub now.

    DS kept trying to climb out of the infant tub so we switched to the big tub. I bought a rubber mat for the bottom and a rubber cover for the spout. The first two nights I think he thought it a bit daunting but now loves it. He crawls around and chases toys. He sits and splashes A LOT.
