Nip feels bruised.

Hi there, I have this weird nipple pain, sort of in both nips but predominantly the left. DS has gotten his first tooth and we're working on biting. Plus, he is getting more teeth. Could he have bruised me? Of course, with breast pain, my first thought is mastitis but there'd be a clogged duct, right? There are no lumps and everything looks normal, no cracks or anything. Thoughts?
