I haven't done breakfast yet- just breastmilk twice before lunch. But I was wondering if you put your baby in the highchair three times a day? What about snacks?
We eat breakfast together on the floor of the kitchen, as weird as that sounds... but it's our thing, and it's special. I'll make us a bowl of oatmeal, or scrambled eggs, or fruits salad, or whatever, and we'll share it Lunch is rarely at home because we're all around town during the day, but if we're home, she eats in her high chair. And dinner is always in her high chair.
Meals are in the high chair, snacks are generally in the living room. I specifically choose less messy foods to give for snacks so they can be more "on the go" - some crunchies, or cheerios, or an apple.
All three meals and usually both snacks. She only nurses when waking up in the morning and before bed. Sometimes she gets some cheerios on the floor in a bowl on on the coffee table.

Breakfast Lunch Dinner and snack time. If I just hand her an arrowroot cookie or something small like that she's not in the highchair but if she's eating blueberries or Cheerios or goldfish crackers, she's strapped in so they don't get smushed on the floor. I've had her in the exersaucer for snack time too but she likes to share her snacks with our dog, it's harder to do that from the highchair,

In our family it is a rule that we sit at the table when we eat. So anytime he eats he sits at the table in his highchair...although I am considering moving him to a booster seat as he doesn't need that much support anymore.
Every meal and every snack for us. Although...yesterday was pulled pork on the kitchen floor because of the total meltdown that happened since I was eating and DD wasn't!

This! Sometimes we'll give him snack in his baby-jail, but those tend to wind up in the dog's stomach more than his. And of course he's so proud of himself for feeding her! ... high chair = dog-free for us.
Breakfast lunch and dinner in the high chair. He doesn't always get an afternoon snack, but if he does it's been outside or in the dining room floor. He takes a long time to eat so I don't like strapping him in for snacks.
