Munchkin Fresh Food Feeder

Is anyone giving these to their LO? It's like a mesh pacifier that you can put food (i.e. a banana) in for baby to eat. I remembered a friend having one for her kids and they loved it, so I grabbed one today when I was out getting formula.

Anybody using it already? Does your LO like it? What kind of foods do you put in it? When do you offer food in this thing - at a time when you would normally do solids in the high chair?

Every baby that has one that I have seen use it loves these things. We have a couple from my shower that I am going to get out this weekend. I saw that someone on the HDBD post was using one. I think I am going to put some peaches in it at first since I know she likes those and isn't allergic. She just tried mum mums last night. She belly laughed for 5 minutes she was so excited.

I put fruit in it and then freeze it. We have done banana, mango and grapes. He gnaws on it at meal times. It helps with teething plus he's rather impatient for his next bite.

I've put bananas in mine, but it can be. a little hard to clean out. Cam loves it.

My mom picked one up first since she watches DS 3x a week. He loves it! My dad says that we tease him, he can taste the food but not really eat it. So he wants to put all my food into a mess feeder and see how I like it! Anyway, DS LOVES it! Keeps him occupied so we can eat dinner as well!

We use ours! I put apples in it and frozen banana but I agree it's hard to clean! He loves it though!

We use ours a lot. I put foods that are too difficult for ds to pick up, in it. Like, blueberries.

We've put all of the things the others have mentioned but we also put in watermelon and the babies went absolutely CRAZY for it. Their favorite food by far.

They are neat but like everyone else said PITA to clean. Bananas are the worst to get out. If I remember correctly with DD1 the mesh part was replaceable. So when they got nasty you could just buy new meshes.

I haven't found it hard to clean...just blast with hot water, soap up, blast again. Ta da.

We've tried mango and pineapple and strawberry. She loves the mango, but not so much the other two. I think she likes to bang it against stuff just as much as eat out of it.

Both of my boys love(d) these things. I usually just put an icecube in it when they have a fever or are teething. Works great!

DS isn't too crazy about it, but I'm going to continue to try it with him. I think it would be good to keep him occupied in his highchair when I'm getting his food ready. But he's usually too impatient! We've only tried bananas, but maybe we need to switch up the fruit.
