  No way!  It's on my long list.  I am of Italian descent and DH's family is from Spain.

  Definitely not! Very pretty name too.

  ETA: I have a very Irish/Scottish name and not a drop of blood from either of those places. It has never been weird having that name and not the heritage, and nobody has ever commented on it either.

  I have a little Bridget but no Irish heritage at all here either.  I've never had any comment on it ever.  Also randomly, she has reddish hair even though DH and I both have dark brown...so maybe she just is trying to live up to her name!
