Dream feed?

DS likes to go to bed around 7:30/8. I have been thinking about adding a dream feed before I go to bed around 10:30/11. Do they work? How much do you give? DS is 11 weeks and takes 4 oz of BM.

I haven't tried with this baby, but tried it with my twins and it was an epic fail. They got up even more. I would give it a try and see if it works for you though. I would offer as much as a normal feed and see what he drinks.

DD goes to bed at the same time. I don't think the dream feed works for us. I did it the other night and she still woke up a few hours later. The past couple nights I have been feeding her around 7:30, she goes to sleep and either wakes up once around 1 AM or sleeps through the night until 5:30

I wouldn't do it unless lo was fussing. Faye will hungry cry but not wake up so I feed her and she's okay, but if she's out I wouldn't dare disturb her. It makes her upset and then defeats the purpose.

Didn't work with DS he woke up more. Did work with both DDs, but I actually wake them to eat, then they conk back out while eating. DD2 falls asleep after eating her 57pm feed. I wake her up again before bed between 8 and 10. Last night she ate at 630, I woke her to eat at 1015, then we all slept from 11 to 630. Ds would have woken up again at 1 and 3! They are all different. Give it a try and see if it works for your kid!

I dream feed but I EBF side lying and it works like a ... Dream! She sleeps a little longer, I feel like, most nights.
