You know what doesn't help ms?

A pukey toddler. I heard Dd2 gagging at 3:15 this morning. Went running into their room and she was throwing up and was totally covered in it. She must have also thrown up earlier an I didn't hear it, and she didn't fuss.

Gave her a bath, changed all of her bedding and got her settled back to bed.

She came and crawled in bed with me after dh left for work, and by 7 she was sick again, all over dh's side of the bed.

I need to get that laundry going, but omg it smells so bad. Need to wait for the zofran to kick in before I tackle that mess!

  • I'm sorry. I hope your DD is feeling better very soon.

  • I can't stomach vomit even when not pregnant and dealing with m/s. I typically make DH clean it up but if he's not here I have to wear a mask and gloves to keep from puking myself.

Sorry your LO is sick. Mine is sick as well but thankfully it's not puking sick. He's got a fever and sore throat.

  • Ohhh no :( I hope your DD is feeling better soon!  You're a brave woman letting her snuggle in your bed with you. I'm a germaphobe when DS gets sick and he sticks to his own bed or the couch!

  • Yuck! I hate the smell of vomit. Just yucky.

I hope your DD feels better soon!

  • Aw, poor girl!  I hope she's feeling better soon!  That would definitely put me into puking mode with this m/s!  :(

  • I can't figure out if she's actually sick, or just ate something that didn't agree with her. She hasn't eaten anything out of the norm, but other than being a little extra cuddly, she seems normal. No fever, playing like normal. Just has to stop and throw up every few hours.

I tucked her in on the couch with a cup of oyster crackers and tinkerbell movies to keep her still. So far so good!

Oh, and I put the pukey bedclothes on the porch. Dh can deal with that, because I've tried and I can't.

Good luck! Our DD had the stomach flu this past weekend. It was weird. No fever or anything and I thought she would be back to normal and the next day would be puke fest again...3 days of it. Hope she feels better after a good night rest!
