I had my mirena removed on January 21st. It took 5 weeks to the day for AF to return. SIDENOTE: my doctor said it could be 3-6 weeks. Anywhoo, just curious as to who is TTC post mirena and what your experiences have been with it. When I got pregnant with my daughter I was on the pill and my cycles stayed the same after I stopped taking it. But with Mirena, I didn't have AF for over 2 years so I'm charting to help me figure out what's going on. Thoughts from other women going through this post mirena are always helpful since this is my first go-around post an IUD.
TIA.
Re: Getting Pregnant Post-Mirena
Thanks
My Ovulation Chart
I had my Mirena removed 12/12. I started withdrawl bleeding on 12/14 and that lasted 2 days. I got my first real AF on 1/14. It was a shorter than normal cycle at 24 days. I am now on my 2nd post-Mirena cycle and it looks like my cycle is back to normal (O on cd15-17).

О Привязать! Z!
I had mine taken out Jan 7th and withdrawal spotting/bleeding that lasted 6 days. It took 6.5 weeks from removal for AF, so CD1 was finally last week. Hopefully things will go back to normal quickly, but after 6 years on BCP and another 4 with Mirena I'm thinking it may take a few cycles.
Good luck!
