So I am 24 weeks now and getting bigger by the week. I used to be a runner..but morning sickness stopped me from from running in the beginning of my pregnancy. Now I am getting back into exercise and just have been walking. I am so jealous of my friends who are signing up for all these summer 5 and 10k's that I used to do. My baby is due at the end of June so I will not be ready to do those or allowed to(after birth) I am enjoying my pregnancy now that I am not nauseas but I can't wait to get back into shape after the baby is born. Everytime I see my friends post what race they are signed up for on Facebook I am so jealous. I know its dumb but I am just annoyed. Anyone else feel like this? And I miss shopping for real clothes and looking stylish. I feel like a weeble wobble and wear the same outfits all the time. That's my rant of the day..lol
Re: jealous and hormonal today
YES!!! I totally understand how you feel! I competed in triathlons and running races prior to becoming pregnant. I live in Ohio, so tri season is basically just the summer, so of course I am pretty much out for the season. Pretty much all of my friends compete and while I am excited for them, I am insanely jealous that I am going to miss a whole season of races.
I don't really have advice- just I know how you feel. Hang in there.

I feel the same way especially about working out. I used to work out during the week and throw in several runs around our community during the week as well and now after a day at work, I'm so tired and worn out (I spend all day walking around) that there's not way I'm getting a workout in.
But just think that soon our little ones will be here and then we can get back into working out again.
I totally understand where you are coming from. All of our local 'fun' races are when I won't be able to do anything. I'm trying to focus on the races I can sign up for once I'm cleared to train again - Looking at an 8k in November that I think I should be able to do. I'm walking as well, but even that has been difficult given the lower back pain I've recently developed, but it's better than nothing! Just trying to stay in the best shape I can so getting back into the swing of things won't be too difficult.
You certainly aren't alone though!!
