Babies: 0 - 3 Months

BACK IN SHAPE POST

Okay so yesterday started well and ended poorly so today might be a muddle through day...

Goals... today I actually got a shower and did my hair, goal is to clean house somewhat

Food...yesterday was cliff bar with nutella for breakfast, squash muffin with butter, two eggs with ham, cheese, veggies for lunch, chicken noodle soup and another cliff bar with nutella for dinner... Not great

Exercise... I did three sets of squats and pushups and made it fifteen minutes on the treadmill before DD was crabby so ok... Today I don't know the plan yet, if I wear her while I clean that should be a workout in itself!

Life... Not good, hubs and I argued again last night. I feel like he is so checked or right now and I don't know what else to say other than to give him space and hope he comes around. We have been together a long tine and this just hurts. Thankfully DD is so wonderful I just love her so much.

  • Goals: I wanted to get out if the house with the kids this afternoon, but it's rainy and yucky out so I don't think it's gonna happen.

    Food: I've been trying to eat more fruits and veggies. Yesterday my snacks were a banana and carrots, so that was good. I already know we're getting pizza for dinner tonight though.

    Exercise: I did my insanity last night. I honestly could have pushed harder I think. But I was dripping sweat at the end so I guess it was still pretty good.

    Life: nothing exciting. DD was supposed to have a play date today but it got cancelled. We have one scheduled for tomorrow, so hopefully that happens.

  • Goals: I really need to spend a portion of today coming up with some plan for my excersise and diet. I'm not too obsessed with loosing wight cause I'm only at 127, but I would like to tone up and be healthier so I can keep up with my LO


    Food: I'm still stocked up on foods I was craving or eating when I was prego. I'm not very proud about it, but they're mostly box and pre made foods. I plan on shopping healthier when I get my food stamps this next month, yesterday I ate grapefruit for breakfast, a grilled cheese and some Campbell's chicken an rice soup for lunch, and for dinner tgi Fridays boneless honey BBQ wings with, buffalo chicken rice and a biscuit. ... Man I need to include some veggies in my diet..

    Excersise: honestly haven't started with it. I downloaded all these apps to help me track my excersise and plan for it, but I'm still getting used to being a mom, and when I'm not dealing with my LO, or running errands, or cleaning, I'm trying to get in some shut eye or form of leisure. Or a shower. But I plan on starting today

    Life: little Milos and I have been staying at his fathers house. We don't live here, and his father and I haven't established ourselves as a couple, were apparently "working on things". I already know he isn't up for any real commitment, but we've been here anyway, because he and I still enjoy each others company. It really does get to me though that I'm not important enough for him to make me his officially, especially when there's his child to be considered. I'm strongly thinking of separating myself from him completely for a while. It's just so hard though, cause I don't want to keep him from our son, and I don't want to leave our son with him alone :

  • Goals - I've already showered, done my hair and put on mascara and lip gloss. Does that count? (LO has a dr appt today, so I'm going out in public. Am I the only one who likes to look semi human when going to the doctor? Ha!). My real goal is to continue the organization/cleaning process so we can get our condo listed for sale ASAP.

    Food - did pretty well yesterday, but I really need to start counting calories. It's just not fun.

    Exercise - the blizzard kept us inside yesterday, but I carried LO in his sling for over 2 hours while cleaning. That counts, right?  Today I need to do some abs. Seriously!

    Life - LO slept pretty well last night until 3am. For some reason he just won't go back down after that. I gave up and put him in his swing where he slept happily until 7am. He gets his first immunizations today - I'm hoping we are one of the lucky ones whose LO's sleep like crazy afterward. Fingers crossed!

  • I watched Dr. Oz while nursing today and found a work out that I can do whether I have 15 minutes of 30 minutes.  I'm gonna try it.  It's cold in NY today so I cant go walking,

  • Well, I'm a little late to this party, but here goes... 

    Goal for today: To maybe get some vacuuming done and take a shower! Also, to hopefully get DS down easily tonight at bedtime and have all of us get a restful sleep tonight.

    Food: Breakfast was my usual 2 cups of coffee w/ sugar free coffee mate and an egg/egg white sandwich w/ reduced fat cheese on multigrain toast. Lunch is leftover whole grain spaghetti w/ clam sauce from last night's dinner. Dinner tonight is TBD - maybe the rest of the leftover ground turkey shepard's pie from Monday.

    Exercise: Just finished Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred (minus the last ab circuit & cool down stretches b/c DS woke up from his nap). But hey...I still worked up a sweat so it counts in my book.

    Life: I found that having a glass of wine or 2 while cooking dinner after DH gets home from work does wonders for the soul! ;) It's a nice way to wind down while DH and I talk about our day together. Still waiting for some quality awake time with him though...we're both still exhausted (to be expected I guess!). DS is possibly going thru his 8 week growth spurt...he's been getting really broken sleep at night and eating like a banshee. LOL.

  • Goal for today: allow myself to workout and not feel guilty for being away.

    Food: banana for breakfast, healthy choice, grapes, and granola bar for lunch. Dinner is TBD.

    Exercise: hot yoga for 1hr 15 minutes

    Life: DS is great. Contimplating changes formulas....any advice is appreciated. Life is generally busy and tiring. Looking forward to the weekend.

  • I did okay yesterday...the only thing I ate that I didn't plan for was two Snickers minis, so that wasn't too awful. Today has been great, though! I got out for a run (even though it was the slowest run EVER, in the history of people) and had oatmeal with natural peanut butter for breakfast. My mom came over for lunch and we made a salad of baby spinach, fresh strawberries, feta, and salmon, with a light raspberry vinaigrette. Dinner is leftover chili.

    Far as life goes, I have started to just pump milk and bottle-feed it to the baby. It's so much easier--it takes so much less time, and it doesn't hurt--it's made my whole outlook on things brighter! 

     

  • Goals: I've lost 3 lbs in the last week. 27 more to go!

    Food: my regular breakfast, coffee, eggs, sausage, eggo waffle. Lunch: enchiladas, black bean salsa and rice. Dinner: same as lunch. Dessert: 3 mini sized candy bars.

    Exercise: none :(

  • Goal: not weighing in until Saturday so I'm trying to eat healthy until then. Today there was a minor slip as I had to work all day and didn't get a chance to pack breakfast, lunch and healthy snacks :(

    Food: stopped at Tim Horton's for breakfast and got a large coffee and bagel. Went to Applebee's for lunch with my boss and a couple coworkers and ate soup and salad with a wrap. Dinner ate 2 fish fillets with corn.

    Life: LO is either going through another growth spurt and/or is coming down with a cold because she is going to bed later than normal and waking up earlier! So I haven't been able to get much done as of lately, good thing DH will be home tonight so he can help me when I have to work!
