My husband and I just found out that he has low sperm count/good motility (11 million), low testosterone. We are just now TTC and not ready to try IUI or anything invasive yet. I'm looking for anyone who has had success conceiving "the old fashioned way" with low sperm.
He's been on clomid a little over a month and not due for another sperm analysis for several more.

We're in the same situation right at the moment. We have more issues than just low count, but with low T levels, our urologist is trying DH on Clomid to see if it helps any. (We also started just over a month ago! Follow-up SA is in April.)
I know that there are a few success stories out there for "the old fashioned way". You might try PAIF or SAIF? What is his morphology at? (I see he has good motility, which is good news!) Personally, we're hoping to have an increase good enough for traditional IVF (vs IVF with ICSI), but we're looking at other issues at play too, so I wouldn't base your possibility of IUI vs TI off of somebody elses situation.
Good luck! I hope the Clomid works well for him!

I read it to mean that they were just TTC for now, as opposed to using assistance? Could also be that since he has low T, his uro suggested a SA before they started?
Not likely she's going to come back and respond though. I found her other post: https://community.thebump.com/cs/ks/forums/thread/72155814.aspx

Oh I see that now. That would make more sense.
Hi OP. My DH has MFI with low T and low sperm count. First we had only 2 mil then 7 mil at the second SA. Still very very low. He's been on Clomid for exactly 3 months and he is having an SA tomorrow to see if we have any improvement. I will probably sit by the phone for 5 days waiting for the results! If the numbers have hopefully gone up some then we will be doing our first IUI in about two weeks.
Read the Semen Analysis section on this link. https://community.thebump.com/cs/ks/forums/55426728/ShowThread.aspx#55426728 It talks about supplements you should ask your urologist about and have DH start asap!!!!!! Again it takes 3 months to see benefits. Good luck!!!!
Married October 2009. Me 29 H 28.
After 1 year of infertility, our little miracle was conceived via our 3rd IUI on May 5, 2013.
Holland Sophia was born Jan 24, 2014.
He has a family history of low t, and he had testicular trauma in high school. So we had him checked just in case.
No one in the family has had trouble conceiving, so they never got their counts checked.
The knower of all things, are we?
OP, sorry to hear about the diagnosis. Given his history, I'd have been on board with him getting checked early too. If you do decide to TTC with some form of assistance there's plenty of ladies around here that have experience with this. GL to you.

I think you are trying to be supportive with this statement, but this comes very close to telling someone to just "relax" and it will happen.
OP, I'm sorry you are dealing with MFI. You've gotten some good advice, and I wish you the best of luck.
