You're not alone! I recently tried to see if it was habit and if he could go longer at night. i started soothing him with a pacifier when he would wake up. He would fall back asleep. I kept doing this until he wouldn't go back to sleep and then I would feed him. After a couple nights he is now going 4 hours and has made it to 5 a couple times. But he has basically dropped a feed by me doing this. It's extra tiring for a couple nights but worth it. Maybe try it out to see if your LO is waking by habit too.
You're not alone. DS eats every 3 hours, so I get about an hour and a half of sleep between feeds. I'm hoping there is light at the end because last night he slept almost 6 hours (7-12:30) and that has NEVER happened! They eventually grow up, right?

I've been doing the same and LO has been sleeping well in my opinion. Last night she slept 7 hours. I'm hoping this is the start of longer stretches.
I suggest, if you haven't already, try other soothing techniques such as pacifier, or white noise.
Best wishes

Nope. She'll give me four hours when I first put her to bed, but after that, it's about every 2 - 3 hours. I'd so love another 4 hour stretch when I'm actually sleeping too.
Well, at least you ladies are making me feel normal.
I tried the pacifier trick last night when he woke at 2:45. I got him until 3am and he just kept getting more and more frustrated. He was really hard to put back down too. I'm thinking his reflux is still an issue since he just grunts and writhes unless he's held upright.
I'm with you! Every once in awhile DD will grant us 4 hours but mostly 23 only. The combo that works best for us is swaddling, humidifier for congestion caused by reflux, making sure the room temp is comfy our room is frigid so we use a space heater and sometimes it gets way too warm and she can't sleep, and white noise! If she starts to grunt and wiggle, I reach over and turn the white noise back on and rock the bassinet. Usually she goes back to sleep. If she keeps waking up I check her diaper, if it's dry and it's been a couple hours I feed her. Sometimes she just fusses because she wakes up and can't get back to sleep on her own.
Re: Is my lo the only one
Yup. 2 months old today and the longest he's gone is 4 hours. It's more like 3 hours, feed, 3 hours, feed, then who knows.
Last night we only got 3 hours, feed, 1.5 hours, soothe him for another 45 minutes, feed, 30 minutes of sleep. Ugh!
Hang in there! It gets better. ...insert mobile smiley here...

This is me, exactly. I'm so tired and I'm going back to work on Monday, I'm terrified.
