Baby is still breach at 37 weeks nd only weighs 3 lbs. Measuring 5 lbs behind. We r so scared and now I have to prwpare for a c section. Caught off guard. Every doc appointment they said she was head down and measuring great.
I am so sorry. Not trying to be selfish I have the same due date and only had one appointment where they check at 20 weeks so was wondering if there was signs I would look for.
Thinking of you and your baby! I don't know how they sized the baby, but I think most of these things can be pretty inaccurate (both the fundal sizing and the ultrasounds). Regardless of what happens, modern medicine is pretty amazing, and even if your kiddo comes via c-section and is a bit small, I'm sure things will work themselves up to fully health quickly!
I did trouble feeling baby move. Like I never felt big kicks even though I could do proper kick countsm maybe that is a sign? I'm really not sure. I did not see it coming
How can you be measuring 5lbs behind and estimate 3 lbs at 37 weeks? They think your baby should be 8 lbs already? Plenty of babies are born healthy at 40 weeks plus that aren't 8 lbs. seems like they might be freaking you out incorrectly. Plus, aren't those measurements pretty controversial?

I'm confused, too. I am measuring big, baby is (supposedly) at 75th-90th percentile at and 37w, the weight estimation is about 7 lbs. An "average" baby would not be 8 lbs. at 37w, and they gain .5-1 lb./week at that point.
Re: prayers pls
T&P coming your way. Is there any way they they can be wrong and LO could be bigger than they are thinking?

I pray everything is okay for you and your baby.
