I have it also. Asked the MW today she said its basically growing pains. Where your uterus is growing for baby. If you are able to lay down drink a couple glasses of water and it goes away you're okay. But if you start spotting go to L&D immediately! GL!
It's different for everyone, and it never hurts to call just in case. That being said, I've been experiencing these off and on for months (more so lately), and they don't really "mean" anything, considering I'm not at all dilated or effaced. Sometimes baby pressing on your bowels can feel like menstrual cramps, too.

I was so going to ask if it was normal...but this is exactly what I do and they go away!
Lurking sorry not in 3rd tri yet!. When I went into preterm labor with my son at 32 weeks the only symptom I had is period like cramping. I called my OB and they had me come in. Monitored me and I was having contractions, dilated to a 3 and 90 effaced. I would call just to be safe. Could be nothing or could be something.

If it doesn't go away I would be concerned at 32 weeks. I had period like cramping from 36 weeks on with my son and it meant nothing for me. Never hurts to cal.
It's likely nothing, but if it were me, I would look up the various signs of preterm labor and simply be familiar with them and observant, but not worry. I don't say that to suggest that's happening, but I'm type of person to get the knowledge to know what to look for so I know when to act, if I need to act. It will also give me the knowledge to know if I need to rest and drink more water, or if I can carry on with out any change. If you start seeing more symptoms, definitely call.
