I went to Walmart and bought the spring valley 1 per day parental. I had heard in the past a few ladies saying it made them sick to their stomach so I decided to take them at night. Last night was night 2 of taking them. Today CD2 but irrelevant I woke up sick to my stomach. Within 10 minutes I had a sweaty mouth and was throwing up everywhere. I've been nauseous all day. Thoughts on prenatals? People have suggested gummies, but the gummies I saw did n't have the right comic acid count.

Re: Prenatal vitamin help
Thanks!
Does anyone have a good vegetarian prenatal suggestion with DHA? I couldn't find any at my Walgreens.

GROW BABY, GROW!
I started out by taking a generic brand, also, but then I looked at the ingredients and realized that I didn't want to start my (potential) baby out with artificial colors and chemicals.
I use the GNC brand prenatals with DHA added. They run about $20 a month and you do have to take 3, but they do not contain any chemicals or artificial anything.
I take my three at the same time, after I eat breakfast, and have never had a problem with nausea.
Best of luck!

Spring Valley is the only brand of vitamins I've never had a problem with. Even Flintstones gave me problems.
OP, you just have to figure out what vitamins work for you.
I had the same issue when I started taking my pre-natal. Without food it made me feel awful, but once I started taking it with breakfast I've been fine. I actually take Complete Natal DHA, which is generic prescription and includes a vitamin and DHA pill. The prescription part is a bit annoying, but it was the cheapest way to go for me. With my insurance it runs $20 for 3 months. Good luck finding one that works for you!
