The longer this cupcake bakes the more studying I am getting done but it is also now getting to the point where the sooner it comes the better for me to establish a routine and breast feeding before the exams. I am getting antsy as a result. OB is going to check my cervix today but I checked myself last night and I am the same as I was a month ago - soft but long, closed, and posterior. Both my mom and DH's were induced 3 times...MIL delivered DH vaginally but I was a c/s - both of us after 42 weeks. I am scared that's the route I am headed and that I will then have a 10day old for my exams... I know I shouldn't be fretting about things I have no control over but it is getting hard to help it. I also just don't feel well anymore. I can't put my finger on it, I just don't.
Re: Feeling done.

I hope you don't mind a lurker butting in...
The day before I went into labor, I just didn't feel good. Nothing in particular, just not right. The next morning, I thought I needed to poop or throw up and felt pretty sick. Then I realized I was feeling sick in waves. Every 8 minutes. LO was here 24 hours later. I was 39w4d, and had been only .5-1 cm for the past few weeks.
Hopefully your "not feeling right" is just the start of your labor!
IUI#2 Femara/Ovidrel (cd 5-9) = BFN

Our daughter E was born 7/29/2012!
Surprise, our 2nd daughter P was born 5/22/14!
this is what I am hoping although it has been 72h and nothing else is happening. Off to the office now... I'll keep you ladies posted.
Ohh Kaf!! Hope the OB has good news for you today. Will your OB let you get to 42 weeks? Sending you lots of labor vibes (I'll send you all of mine too - so I can hang out for another week or so).
And wouldn't childbirth be a good reason to defer exams if you needed to?
baby is fine but nowhere near coming. Sitting higher than it was a month ago even. No plans for an induction yet, but he wouldn't let me go beyond 42 weeks, but that gives me a 10d old at my exams. If I deferred it would be by a full year and I would be forced to be unemployed for that time and without benefits and out more than $4000 and would have to give up the job opportunity i have to start in November. Unless I am in hospital I plan on writing it. It's just stressful to have spent the last 6 months doing nothing other than working and studying and then having such a big event with guaranteed fatigue impacting me on the day of. I am at least allowed to bring my pump to the exam centre...
Oooh - that's a difficult spot to be in. Piling on lots more labor vibes for you. If we can make it through the challenges of IF - you'll be a rockstar for your exams. Wishing you all the best!
