What is your LO up to today?Sleeping, finally. Lots of crying earlier. What is your LO's current obsession?The boob. Also having time on her changing table with a bare bottom. Do you have any funny inside jokes between you/DH/LO (even if baby isnt old enough to get it)?I joke about "slipping her the boob" in a manner that would suggest I'm giving her dessert without dinner. What is for dinner? And who is cooking?Im thinking I will order food from the cafe at the club after I finish teaching. No cooking for me tonight! I did make crockpot chicken last might.

With the nanny and my Mom while I am at work.

His hands. He also loves his feet.

Hmm...not that I can think of.

DH and I will probably go out to eat tonight since my Mom is in town and can keep LO. We so rarely get to go out to eat.

What is your LO up to today? G is fighting a little stomach bug so he's been extra whiny today. My mom took him on an errand with her so I can get some work done (oops ).

What is your LO's current obsession? "Choo choos!!" He loves thomas the train right now.

Do you have any funny inside jokes between you/DH/LO (even if baby isnt old enough to get it)? Hmm, I can't think of anything right now!

What is for dinner? And who is cooking? I'm making baked chicken with smokehouse bbq seasoning and salad.

What is your LO up to today?
According to the day care monitor, she is quite busy rolling around on the floor.

What is your LO's current obsession?
She just learned the "d" sound, so she has been constantly saying "da da da da da da da!" MH insists she is saying dada meaning him, but when I said the same thing when she learned the "m" sound a month ago, he thought I was crazy.

Do you have any funny inside jokes between you/DH/LO (even if baby isnt old enough to get it)?
Not an inside joke per se, but MH calls her Poopers, and she responds to it. I wonder how she will react when she finds out about poop.

What is for dinner? And who is cooking?
Looking like tonight is going to be takeout. I have a hair appt. after work, and we leave after work tomorrow for an 8 hour drive for a funeral. So after the hair appt. and takeout, I'll have to get everything packed up for both of us and the two dogs. Wish us luck on that road trip... yikes!

She is at daycare and I'm sure she is playing with her friends!

What is your LO's current obsession?
A, B, C's. She sings them over and over and over.

Do you have any funny inside jokes between you/DH/LO (even if baby isnt old enough to get it)?
DH will grab her feet and ask her "whose toes are those?" and she will say "daddy's!". Then I grab her feet and say the same and she switches to "mommy's". We go back and forth and she laughs and laughs.

What is for dinner? And who is cooking?
We pulled out some Mahi Mahi to thaw last night, so we will probably grill it and make fish tacos.

What is your LO up to today? The usual. Sleeping, eating, playing on the mat. Baby A is going through a "wake up screaming at the top of my lungs until Mom picks me up phase," so he's had lots of cuddles. Poor Baby B doesn't care for the squeals. Baby A has decided tummy time is best for thumb sucking and has no interest in rolling anymore. He did figure out peekaboo today, so we got an awesome video. Baby B; however, is a rolling machine.

What is your LO's current obsession?
Baby A is very interested in his tongue. He is always playing with it and licking EVERYTHING. He is a big fan of fabric and gets a kick out of having his tongue wiped after meals. Open mouth kisses are also a big fav. Baby B is in a serious relationship with Sophie the Giraffe. If he kisses his girlfriends like that, we are in serious trouble. He has also discovered his feet and is really enjoying grabbing them during diaper changes.

Do you have any funny inside jokes between you/DH/LO (even if baby isnt old enough to get it)?
We grew up in Texas in the era of abstinence only education (or maybe the era is still going on??) and we always joke that abstinence is the only way we got pregnant since we conceived via IVF and I was on pelvic rest. We tell the boys that Mommy got pregnant from french kissing, so they better be careful.

What is for dinner? And who is cooking?
Crockpot Pesto Chicken. It's a new recipe, so we will see how it goes! And, who is cooking- me, always me! But, he does the dishes, so all is well .

Thanks! We are going to leave close to her bed time and pray she sleeps the whole way, and MH does not!

Poor DS has a cold. He has been cranky and clingy. We called the pedi and got permission to give him Benadryl before his nap to dry him out. So now he is napping and I haven't heard him cough, which is good. His current obsession is trucks, cars, and trains... basically anything on wheels. DS is at a cool stage where he is developing a sense of humor so we laugh with him all the time. He always laughs when we chase him around though. Homemade tacos for dinner. It's a pregnancy craving. DH will cook and clean up so I can rest after a long day alone with a sick DS.

What is your LO up to today?

A ton, actually. She finally started clapping her hands and banging toys together. Plus she is thisclose to finally crawling forward (until now, she's just been pushing herself backwards around the room).

What is your LO's current obsession?

Sitting herself up when she's lying on her belly. She can't seem to help herself. Unfortunately, this is taking a toll on nap and bedtimes.

Hmmm.... nothing comes to mind right now.

Well, DH is out of town, so I was planning to just have tomato soup over egg noodles. I'll give DD some of the noodles to munch on with her purees, along with some apple slices. Which means I'll probably be having half an apple too. LOL

What is your LO up to today? It's an office day for me, so DS is hanging out with the nanny. Hopefully he is napping right now, getting some more rest to knock out the rest of a head cold he came down with last Friday.

What is your LO's current obsession? Wrestling with DH. He will squeal "Again Daddy, Again!!" over and over.

Do you have any funny inside jokes between you/DH/LO (even if baby isnt old enough to get it)? DS is a ham and is always excited when he stumbles upon something new that will make DH and I laugh every time he does it. Before bed time, he likes to give kisses, back and forth between mommy and daddy...about a million to each of us with a very emphatic "Muah!" after every one of them. He is a little rough about the whole thing, so DH and I have to be careful not to get knocked out by his kisses, but it is so cute and always makes us laugh :-)

What is for dinner? And who is cooking? We?re having chicken noodle soup tonight. DH will do the prep work, and I will do the cooking.

DD is napping right now (thank God). Sounds like a lot of colds are going around and our house wanted in on the fun too!

DS is demolishing some orange slices right now in the high chair, watching me type.

What is your LO's current obsession?

DD taking her clothes off. At least she leaves her diaper on!

DS standing up, eating dog hair, pulling off his socks and pooping 75 times a day.

Um ... I don't think so? We have some nicknames for the kids that have come from funny things they have done or said, but other than that ...

Whatever my husband makes I don't cook.

Went for a walk in the Ergo this am so M could get his morning nap (90 mins). Then went to BF support gp for socialization, followed by shopping at Trader Joe's.

What is your LO's current obsession?

Making a Darth Vader sound (keeehhhh)

What is for dinner? And who is cooking?

Heating up leftover take-out Thai food, adding tofu, kale and carrots for extra fiber and proteins. And cooking brown rice. I SAH so I cook all the meals.

Sleeping, eating, pooping. Today we had an experience with a sh!t rocket. This is the implosion that happens when the diaper is off. We found poop on the door and in the hallway. I laughed so hard I cried.

What is your LO's current obsession?

She's starting to make more eye contact. It's not a lot, but it's more than it was.

Do you have any funny inside jokes between you/DH/LO even if baby isnt old enough to get it?

We call her "Beast". She turns into an animal at feeding time. Her face is ferocious and red and it cracks us up.

What is for dinner? And who is cooking?

Dijon, maple chicken in the crockpot and roasted veggies. Both are from our freezer meal stash that we made before LO arrived. MH put it in the crockpot so I guess he is cooking.

E used to do the vader too! It quickly turned into her version of a raspberry, so cute!

DS is currently taking a nap but has really been fighting the nap situation recently. The past several days he's gone without. We are so not ready for that.

His most recent obsession is our XMen arcade. My DH bought a used arcade last year that's in our garage and all he continually asks for is "arcade, arcade".

Every time DS wants something he nods yes and makes a clicking sound with his tongue. Even though he knows how to say yes he doesn't. So as of late DH and I have been doing the nodding and clicking to each other.

I will be cooking, I do most of the time. Tonight we are having oven roasted veggies with savory tofu and garlic salt pork chops

Apparently we have a water baby! DH took DS to his first swimming class today, and apparently it went very well.

What is your LO's current obsession?

Doing everything to move around rolling, army crawling, scootching. He is also doing the rocking thing on his knees.

Do you have any funny inside jokes between you/DH/LO even if baby isnt old enough to get it?

DH and I keep saying redrum to DS because his new babbling combined with his scratchy voice from having a cold reminds us of the little boy in the Shining. Yes we are nuts.

I'm not sure. Probably some kind if leftovers. DH is in charge of that.
