Dropping Pumping Sessions

I also posted on the breastfeeding board... I plan on breastfeeding until 1 year.  I have plenty of milk frozen so I think I can stop pumping at work, I am only down to 1x / per day at work now.  If I do this, will my supply drop on the weekends?  I don?t think I have enough left to exclusively bottle feed her breast milk till 1 year especially since I plan on mixing cow?s milk / breast milk to ease the transition. I do have plenty to cover the remaining work days but not if you count the weekends too.

    It would only make sense that your weekend supply would drop to match your weekday output. It shouldn't completely disappear, but it will be less than you used to have on weekends. We've been offering more and more WCM throughout the day, which has caused LO to want to nurse less often and for shorter periods of time. I've started supplimenting his daycare bottles with WCM to also help the transition. He gets 3oz BM with 1oz WCM and doing well with that. Maybe next week we'll do 1/2 and 1/2.
