I had to force myself to cut down because I was drinking it everyday - with like 2 handfuls of marshmallows melted on top. Oh so good, but I am really trying to watch how much junk I consume. Everything that I gain now has to be lost later

I don't drink Coffee or tea, so for the past 2 winters I've always had a hot chocolate in the morning. I usually try to force myself to eat my breakfast first, but since becoming pregnant sometimes all I want is that sweetness first thing in the morning.
I had my glucose test today, but don't get the results for another week or so, I'm not really concerned, but I guess we won't know until I get the results.
I have been drinking it every morning for the past couple of weeks and I just now saw that it has quite a bit of sugar in it so hopefully my glucose test goes okay.

I'm lucky that the boss likes to have lattes and cappuccinos at work, so we have a fancy machine that grinds the beans, uses real milk, etc. I've never been much of a coffee person, but it also makes hot chocolate with milk. Definitely my weakness - available at the touch of a button.
It doesn't offset the sugar, but it still counts toward my milk/calcium intake, right?

As someone who has never drank plain milk I always like to think of my milkshakes and hot chocolates as calcium intake as well as a treat.
