Me: Hadley, are you tired?
Her: yes
Me: are you ready to go nightnight?
Her: yes
Me: ok, let's go night night.
Her: 5 minutes of rolling on the ground accompanied by uncontrollable screaming.
She then went in to her room, over to the crib, and said up.
Anyone else exhausted by toddler hood?
Re: Conversation with my 16 month old
Stardust, I'm sorry. That's frustrating.
Super, that's awesome. Makes me glad that so far Lily only nods or shakes her head instead of actually saying "yes" or "no". And we're training her to be a yes man, so she almost always nods. It's awesome when you ask her stuff like "Do you love Mommy?" but hilarious when our friend tricked her yesterday and asked "Do you want to scrub the toilet?"

LOL this made me giggle but probably because it's so darn accurate haha
N always asks for her blanket over and over even if she's holding it haha
::raises hand:: everything we say is met with a big fat "no" ... and her tantrums involve stomping her feet as hard as she can, balling her hands up into fists, and shrieking at us with a very red face.
