I'm new here, but I've been lurking for a couple weeks. My DS is 11 weeks old and 14 lbs. I live in Hilo,Hawaii where it's warm and humid. I'm trying to find a carrier that keeps him cool and allows me to do housework. We currently have an Ergo Performance Carrier that he'll tolerate, but he's sweaty when I pull him out of it, and i only put him in it in a short sleeve onesie. I like the Ergo for our daily outings, but find it bulky for housework. We have a Baby K'tan, but he hates it and gets sweaty in it. We got a handmedown Bjorne, but it hurts my back, and I know crotch danglers are bad for his development, so I don't like it. Anyone have any suggestions for a carrier that is good in warm weather and appropriate for light housework? TIA!
Also, if you suggest a ring sling, which one do you like? There are so many to choose from.

Re: A carrier for hot weather?
If you want a ring sling a linen sling is probably your best bet. Comfy Joey is my personal favorite but sleeping baby productions is another good bet.
A gauze wrap like the Bali Baby Breeze is about the coolest thing wrap wise - you can also do a back carry in that which I find to be much cooler than a front carry. Any thin cotton wrap - vatanai is one brand that's thin that I love - is nice in the heat too. Single layer carries like kangaroo and ruck will be cooler as well.
Mei tais are also cooler than buckle carriers like the ergo. I have some brand suggestions in my siggy link.
You might also see if you have a babywearing group nearby with things you can try on! There are some listed here - https://wrapyourbaby.com/babywearinggroupshawaii.html - sorry though I'm totally ignorant of Hawaii geography and they may be no where near you
