Belly the button pooch

Yuck!

If you don't know what I'm talking about then lucky you!!

If you do what are you doing to get rid of it? ...besides wishing that you could just have it removed :P

I've been watching my food and exercising, and although I can tell I'm getting trimmer overall, I don't see a considerable difference below the belly button. In a picture I can tell, but it just feels the same.

What are you doing to remedy his situation?!

Re: Belly the button pooch

  • I think I know what you mean? Except my pooch is kind of above my belly button. Sht. I have no idea how to get rid of it. I bust my butt exercising, and I've been doing low carb since Dec. and I still look like I'm 6 months pregnant. I've heard people have long term tummy pooch after C-sections.

I haven't been doing any ab work at all, so serves me right, I guess.

    Also, SPANX!

  • Oh psh! Mine is bad, like all mush and flop. I don't wear spanx all the time, but I wore them for the first time since having the c-section last week and I got tons of compliments LOL people were like "Omg gurl! you look sooo skinnay!" haha.

I just hate how restrictive they are. Like you are constantly holding your breath.

You better quit your complaining Miss.IhavethetiniestbellypoochEVER.

  • I have the mush and flop too Mrs C! It is lovely, no? I was dieting and exercising, but the diet is hopefully out the window for 9 months :)

Amen sister! I was just telling my sis about how I ate an entire dozen boston cream donuts when I was KU. She was threatening to eat a whole pack of girl scout cookies LOL.

I think 98% of my meals were from Wendy's during pregnancy.

  • After DD it took a good solid year of doing cardio work at least 5 days a week before I was back to where I was happy with my mid section.  Of course, since I couldn't workout while I was nursing that didn't start until she was 15 months old.

This time around I'm able to exercise, but didn't get serious about it until about four months ago and am really starting to see results now.  I was doing some form of workout 3-5 days a week and running at least 3 times a week, but we just started Insanity so that's all I'm doing right now.  I'm definitely seeing a difference already from that, though.
