Gwen was up every two hours last night and only wanted to fall asleep with a boob in her mouth. Perfect timing since I go back to work on Wednesday. I'm exhausted and emo.
And mastitis sucks balls. I got antibiotics Saturday night after a 101 fever, chills, headache and swollen/red/painful breasts. I'm still recovering. And getting to know my pump pretty well since we won't be seeing enough of each other in the next few months ::eyeroll::

I can count on one hand the number of times my 8 month old has completely slept through the night. My husband and I are ready to sleep train him, but he keeps getting these colds that last a really long time and we won't train him when he's sick. I want him to get healthy so we can work on ending the night wakings.
I decided to stop visiting forums for babies born the same month as mine, as I kept reading what all these other babies similar to the age of mine are doing that mine can't yet - becoming mobile, crawling, pulling up on furniture, etc. Not to mention, there's a baby at our day care a month younger than ours who is doing all these things. I understand mine will progress at his own rate, and our pediatrician hasn't yet shown any signs of concern, but it's still so discouraging.
My son had surgery Friday. I am hurt that only my mom and mother in law seemed to think it was a big deal. A card from my sister or sister in laws would have been nice.
