Why's everyone getting new SNs?

Or, rather than why (since the people who have have explained that), why today and how?

Not that I want to change mine but that's two people today who've changed theirs and I didn't even know you could do that.

    Yeah, on Parenting was where I saw the other one too.

    So do you just put in a request to the Bump Gods or...what's the process on that?  Again, I'm just curious.

    So the SN changing was just a.l.isa.p and then someone on Parenting then? (I just want to make sure i'm not missing anything important here).

    And yeah, to answer your question, you page the Bump Gods, ask them pretty please, and they change your SN for you. You do have to give them a list of options though, so you don't know for sure what your new SN will be.
