So...my results from the CD3 bw I had done are slowly coming in, & everything was looking good until today I saw it looks like I have high testosterone & androgen levels. Which I know can be indicative of PCOS.

Nothing for sure yet, I haven't even heard the interpretation from my OB yet, but I'm bummed that the levels were so high, that can't be good.
Re: well sh*t...
Thanks spacepotatoes! Yeah I'm really curious what my OB will say. Really hoping it's not PCOS.
PCOS isn't a "death sentence" for fertility. As long as there is a plan anything can happen. Personally I'd rather have that then say unxplained infertility.

yeah, I suppose. I know that in reality knowing what the problem is & having a plan would probably be better than not knowing, I guess I've just been hoping that my wonky cycles were just due to still regulating from getting off BCP. And if it does turn out to be PCOS that means my cycle will likely never be "normal" w/out medication, which is kinda a bummer.
How long have you been off bcp? I'm on mobile so I can't tell if you have a sight or no.

Stop jumping the gun. You've only been TTC for 6 months. Plenty of women get pregnant with PCOS without any problems. Yes, you may be having wonky cycles but you need to keep temping and use opks.
Don't self diagnose via the Internet. See what you doctor has to say first.

A friend of mine with PCOS has 35-40 day cycles and has been pregnant twice without any meds or problems. Don't assume things or jump the gun.
ETA It hits everyone differently and does not automatically mean infertility. Could it take a little longer? Yes. Could it happen within the standard 12 months? Yup.
CLOMID: 4 rounds, 50mg + TI = BFN's. FEMARA: 1 round = no response
12-24-2012 : Laparoscopy, Softball sized cyst/endo/scar tissue removed.
Cycle #14 - Feb 2013 : 50mg clomid. Ovidrel Trigger. IUI on 2/14/13 = thin lining, multiple cysts.
Cycle #16 actively trying (May/June): Femara, TI = BFN
Cycle #17- #20 - Med/Treatment break, trying on our own = BFN's all around.
Cycle #21 - Femara, MORE Femara, Ovidrel and a Christmas IUI = BFN

I was a little nervous when first diagnosed with PCOS, but my dr was very encouraging. After 6 months on metformin and needing provera for a few extra long cycles, I started ovulating again (with no additional meds) in September, and since then my cycles have continued to level out and become more normal. Last month, I had a 31 day cycle. A year ago, I couldn't have imagined a cycle under 40 days!
April 2013: Femara + Trigger + IUI = ???
Thanks, that's cool to hear that some ladies w/ PCOS still have somewhat regular cycles, very encouraging! I guess the women I've known w/ PCOS haven't been so lucky, but I know everyone is different.
That's awesome! GL to you!
