2 boy names: help me choose

I've always had a hard time with boy names but I currently have two that I like a lot. Which name do you ladies think is better: Nolan or Porter?

Not really a "trend" to me... I was always going to do it. My BFF growing up was Smith and I lurved it.

I strongly dislike Nolan, but I love Porter for a girl. Not as much for a boy. My DH nixed it because he is overweight and if our kid is too, he is worried they'd call her Porker. Or Portly. Too many teasers there!

If you love last names as first names, (as I do), how about Griffin, which is our DS name? Or Harrison, Fisher, Miller?

Nolan sounds like Colon. sorry. Of the 2 I like Porter. Sounds like Quarter and money is great!

I really like both. If it matters to you Nolan is getting very popular. So Porter will be less popular.

Do you watch Revenge? Nolan Ross/Jack Porter? First thing I thought of with the combo!

That said, I think Nolan is a great name!
