Thanks for asking.....I am doing good. My parents got back from the Dominican late last night and my older sister got them from the airport and filled them in on everything. My mom hasn't gone to my grandparents house, but my sister walked my dad (it was his dad who had passed) to the house and spent some time with him there. I was so busy trying to clean and take care of the estate, I don't think I have really had time to process everything. Everyone in my family that has ever passed, has had cancer and was either at home surrounded by family or in hospice surround by family when they passed. I think I am having a hard time with the thought that my grandpa was alone. The only thing I can hope for is that he went quickly and wasn't lying there in the cold (his house was freezing when I found him).

He did have cancer, and my aunt also said that he had the flu. While cleaning his kitchen, I found an empty pie box that once housed his favorite pie. I hope he got to eat that whole dang pie in one sitting before he passed.
