I held out two hand and told him I had a present for him and to pick a hand. He picked my right hand, also the correct one, and I opened it up to reveal a pacifier!

I left the pg test on the bathroom sink and he didn't find it until 4 hours later! It was really funny though when he ran into the living room with a pg test in his hand and wanted to know if it was, "for real". No honey, I faked it! Haha. What ideas do you have for telling your DH?
This was a surprise so I didn't plan anything really cute. Right after it popped up pregnant DH was walking in the door home from work. I just walked out of the bathroom completely stunned and put the test out in front of me. Didn't get too creative!
My husband was playing video games in his office. I went upstairs and asked if he could pause the game. After waiting a minute he did. I took him into the bathroom and said "do you see 2 lines?" We were both surprised. We were going to start Clomid with my next cycle, so I was actually hoping to get AF and instead....SURPRISE!!! I don't think he gets it yet.

I'm gonna vote not to do the test on the counter..
I had been taking OPK strips... so when I left my BFP on the counter for my husband to find... his response was "You're ovulating again???? Maybe you are messed up!!!!"
Then I had to explain it to him. Not that he's stupid, he just doesn't pay attention..lol
DH's bought the test for me at a 24 hour CVS then left it on the bathroom counter so I could take it as soon as I woke up. 6 tests and 2 trips to CVS later (i didn't belive them) we were both stunned and very excited.
I bought a "Happy Father's Day" card forever ago and gave it to him with a small stuffed animal ( a little beagle just like our beagle). The stuffed animal had a little see through pouch and I put the cheap dollar store test in a ziplock and then in the pouch. DH took out the test and tossed it to the side. He didn't get what it was! He understood when he read the card.
What is so funny is it was reminiscent of our engagement because I didn't get what was happening and I did the same thing with the ring.
I tested about 20 min before my H got home from work early. I greeted him at the door per usual and I made some ridiculous joke about baby names while showing him the test and grinning like a loon. I then had a giggling fit while crying at the same time. It was pretty kooky.
it was actually his birthday- this past thanksgiving and we had been trying for a couple months- i waited all day (after seeing the family and all) to give him his presents- i had him open up all of his stuff and then after he was finished i just told him that "there is just one more thing... i'm pregnant" his look was more of stunned then he got the cutest little grin- i could have been so much more creative with it but i had tested that morning and found out, and with it being thanksgiving, most stores were closed and couldn't think of a way nor purchase a "baby" type gift to tell him and def wanted to tell him on his bday- thought it would be a nice surprise! he was thrilled

I threw the test at his face, screamed "LOOK WHAT YOU DID TO ME!" then locked myself in a bathroom for 2 hours.
It was effective.
In all seriousness, I said "I'm pregnant." I'm not into cutesy stuff.
