BFN blood tests, but pregnancy symptoms? Help!

This is sort of a long story. My DH and I have been TTC for 15 months, and this month we started our first round of Clomid (CD3-7), then Estradial (CD8-12), then Progesterone (oral, CD18+). Here's the hangup-I was on an antibiotic that I was allergic to (oops! We didn't know) and ended up at my PCP, who did a blood test (BFN) during the 2 week wait. The next day, I ended up in the hospital for vomiting and dehydration, where another blood test was BFN. After refusing radiology (x-ray, then CT with contrast) 3 times, the doctor came out to assure me that there was no way I was pregnant. My LMP was 1/28, so I hadn't missed a period yet, but now have been spotting for 3 days and am getting concerned...the CT showed multiple ovarian cysts, which have been bursting for the past weekend (ouch!), but I am concerned-we were pretty religious about the BD this month, and am wondering: Is it still possible that I could be pregnant, despite the BFNs? If so, how awful is it that I had all that radiology? A little freaked out and scared...I have HPT but am hesitant to take them yet...

    There's no way for us to know if you are pregnant or not. Take a test. Keep taking tests every day that your period doesn't show up. If your period is more than a few weeks late and you're not pregnant, call your doctor.

    First, congrats on your good news, BootsOrHearts! And yes, I plan on the HPTs, though I am unsure if the spotting is AF or if it's a side effect of the Progesterone. I guess my biggest concern is the radiology-the doctor seemed so confident, despite my and my DH's objections.

    How many dpo was the blood test done.  If it was done 14dpo or later you are not pregnant.

    I just saw a similar story on the show "I didn't know i was pregnant". I would say follow your 1st mind. If you feel and think you may still be pregnant then treat your body that way until an RE or OB tells you otherwise.

    BFP on a First Response test at lunch...I am so happy, but freaking out because I was assured that I wasn't pregnant!!!

    Good news! Talked to my midwife and she says not to worry. Also took two more tests (Clear Blue and generic) and all BFP! Fingers crossed this works out-I go in for a blood test tomorrow to confirm. Thank you everyone for all your help!
