Pretty sure just leave it alone. That's what I've been doing, but his isn't too bad so far. Now as for that baby acne.. it changes so much one day to the next, but I can't seem to figure out why. I just leave it alone as well. GL!

LO has it and I've just left it alone. I know there's a special shampoo you can buy but it doesn't seem to be bothering him and I know it'll clear up on it's own.
DS had some dry scalp last month around his one month appointment. His doctor said to just rub some baby oil or coconut oil or whatever we wanted to use on his scalp a few minutes before a bath so it can "soak in" and then to carefully and lightly scrub his head with a baby brush and to rinse well (careful not to get in the eyes). So we did that twice and his head was back to normal in a few days. He didn't have a bad case of it, I wasn't even sure it was cradle cap.

The pedi told me to use regular Selsun Blue once a week. It only took 2 applications for it to disappear. I had bought the Little Remedies lotion for cradle cap, but went with the Selsun Blue at the doctor's recommendation.
Both of my boys had it. Use a comb to bring it up, then wash with dandruff shampoo. Use very little, make sure there are no cuts, and avoid the eyes. You can also use baby oil on the scalp, and bring it up with a small comb, then wash away with shampoo. I've also heard of people using olive oil.
I saw PP mention leaving it alone. I would not recommend that. It can then travel onto the face, neck and sometimes trunk. I've dealt with this with both boys.
Aquaphor is good if you notice it on the face.
I have also heard to brush baby's head every day with a baby brush to stimulate the skin and help prevent cradle cap. DD had cradle cap once as an infant and never had it again after brushing every day. DS has it right now. I have been brushing and doing lotion after baths.
DS had it. I just left it alone b/c it didn't bother him. It eventually went away. Some ppl will tell you to do things to remove it, but it will typically just keep coming back so I don't see the point.
Our ped told us to use our nails and lightly scratch her head when shampooing. She told us we could use Selsun Blue twice a week if the first way didnt work. We haven't had to buy the shampoo.
I rubbed Cradle Cap lotion on to his head (it's by Little Remedies), let it soak in, then combed it w/ a cradle cap comb, then shampooed. It took about 4 days of this before it went away and has not returned.
