Traveling

DH and I are contemplating traveling with our DD next weekend she will be 9 weeks old. It is our nephew's 2nd Birthday, and his daddy dh's brother just left for deployment we live in GA, they live in FL. It's about a 7.5 hour drive or so. We are going to drive down with his parents and sister, which would make it easier to have help for the drive. Thoughts? Advice? Is it too early?

I just hate to miss his birthday with his daddy being gone too.

    I don't think it's too early and having help driving will be handy! We had DD November 29th and traveled to 4 Christmas' with her. She wasn't even a month old at that point. I would just say try to do most of the driving at night if you can so LO doesn't get days/nights mixed up by sleeping all that time in the car!

    Go for it! Have fun! Don't over think it, most babies just sleep the whole time in the car.
