Lo was 4 months yesterday. She ks still eating every three hours like clockwork from about 5 am to 7:30 pm.Each feeding is about 7 oz each. Is this normal? Some times I worry she isnot eating enough and other times too much.
I think every baby is different but my LO is 4 and 1/2 months and he eats every two hours about 4 oz. Of course if he's sleeping he may go up to 4 hours during the day. He also is sleeping through the night so when finally wakes up he may eat more than 4 oz, sometimes like 6oz. Hope this helps.
My LO is 3 1/2 months and eats 8oz every 4 hours sometimes 3-31/2 his last feeding is at 9 or 9:30 and is in bed by 10 (this works best for our schedule) and wakes up about 8-9 and will eat 8-10oz however he has been quite the eater from day 1. I have a friend whose LO is 2 weeks younger and he is still eating every 3-4 hours and only taking 4oz the DR said this was completely normal that she just may have a snacker on her hands she still feeds him at least once during the night sometimes 2! I think your LO is fine, as long as she is growing and happy you are good to go I hope this helped or eased ya a little!!
My little girl is 4 months and eats every three hours, approximately 6 ounces. First feeding is around 8 and last is about 9pm. She usually stretches one of the feedings during the day and in the end it totals 5 bottles a day 30oz total. She seems happy so I'm happy.
DD is similar to what one of the pp's said. She is almost 5 months, still eats every 2 hours at daycare, usually 4-5 oz at a time. I nurse her when she is home, but still every 2 hours usually unless she is asleep. She sleeps through the night too and pretty much always has.
I think every baby is different, by my 4 month old is on a four-hour schedule. He's BF, so I'm not sure exactly how much he's getting for most feedings, but we give two bottles (5 oz each) for daycare during the day. He's also getting a 6.5-7 hour stretch at night before he wakes to eat, so I take this as a good sign he's getting enough.
Think each baby is different. As long as she's eating regularly, sleeping, and putting on weight, I'd think all is well
