Hi everyone, I'm re-intro'ing myself after taking a break from IF, changing REs, etc. I feel like I'm starting fresh!
Just a quick backstory: DH and I have been married almost 4 years we're both going to be 32 this year. Further background in signature ![]()
I changed REs in Dec 2012 and am now starting at one of the top fertility clinics in NYC. We're doing things a bit different by adding EPP (start this Wed) as well as undergoing a co-culture tomorrow. Eek! For those that haven't heard of this procedure, a piece of your uterus is excised 1 week after + OPK. The cells are grown and multiplied in a petri dish and when the embryos are formed, they hang out in this co-culture in addition to the regular medium used. I get that this is suppossed to create a more familiar environment for the embryo to form and then they are transferred as a 3dt. I'll still be on an antagonist protocol but adding Menopur to the Follistim as well. I really hope it goes well this time!
I'm hoping to baseline next week and then start stimming. My nurses reviewed my calendar with me and it looks like my retrieval will fall on or near St Patrick's Day - here's to hoping for additonal luck!
Other than that, I have 2 kitties and a bunny that run amuck in the house. We've been taking advantage of the snow this season and have skied a ton so far. I would love to plan a vacation for the summer when my husband has off but we're obviously waiting to see how this cycle pans out.
Good luck to the remaining Feb Hearts and fellow Lucky Ducks. There's been alot of BFP action lately, it's very encouraging to see. Hope you'll have me back to the board!
