This weekend my 14 yo said....
That nobody likes Niall. She said she feels sorry for him and that he's the cutest to her. She's not all that into 1D, but a lot of her friends are. She also said that she read somewhere that Niall said there are times that fans will come up to hug every other boy in 1D and won't hug him. Poor Niall.
Anyway, I actually had a 1D story to share. Yay.

He's still finding himself.(See: tank tops) Once he blossoms and gets laid he will be a rock star. He plays the guitar. He gets dreamy points for that.
The hug story is sad. Poor Niall. I bet Boy Georges niece didn't want to pose with him.
Huh. See, I had the impression that Niall was really popular among the 11-14 year old demographic because he does look so young. I would have thought that Liam would be snubbed most often (although he is officially Betsy's favorite as of this weekend).
My problem with Niall is his style. His face gets more mature and better looking by the day, but I will never be able to take him seriously as long as he wears those sloppy "trainers" and tank tops. I mean, his nips may as well be official members of the band at this point.
ETA: I also like that he's a songwriter as well as being very talented on the guitar. He wrote Last First Kiss and Back For You and maybe some others, I'm nto sure.

I'll be honest. I'd have to think really hard about hugging him if he was wearing the tank top. I'm not down with strange armpits, even 1D armpits.
I mean, I'd probably hug him. But I would cringe.

I've seen more of my students with Niall pictures than any of the other guys, so he's loved here.
That being said, I'd never deny him a hug. He's a left-hander like I am, and I take that sh!t seriously.

Maybe that's why my DD has a soft spot for him. I'm left handed and my twins are both left handed. I'm holding out hope that Oliver will be too.
