Already posted about this over the weekend, but I took DD to a neighbor friend for a play date on Thurs. Halfway through, she proceeds to casually inform me that her husband and kids had the stomach flu the week prior. DH and I were going away the next day for a weekend getaway. Sure enough, only 2 hrs after we got to the B&B, my parents call to tell us DD is puking. We had to turn back around and come home. Still don't know yet if we will get our money back, but at least the illness was short lived and DD is back to her old lovable, playful self. DH and I think we had a mild version of it over the weekend, but we're feeling better today.

So my b!tch is, the stomach bug is highly contagious, people!!! 1 week is NOT long enough to have ppl over to your house after having it. That sh!t lives a loooong time unless you deep clean with Lysol spray or bleach. At the very least, I would've appreciated a heads up from my friend before going over there blindly...would have saved me and my family a lot of trouble and misery!!! Stick out tongue

DS is being ubber cranky today, I have a ton to catch up on from the weekend, and to top it all off I have to play secretary for DH since he forgot his work phone at home. He's a road service tech and the phone he left at home is the one they use to send him on calls. And the icing is a sour stomach and the urge to vomit constantly, the flu is going around at DH's work currently.

Went to a bday party at my sister's Saturday and she didn't tell everyone her kids and husband were sick. Now every person that went to the party is sick. Poor DH got sent home from work because he was too sick. I'm hoping mine was limited to yesterday. 
I'll never understand why people do that. Why not just reschedule the party? Hope you and your H feel better soon.
I hate being in class with people who don't take school seriously. It makes me so mad. I was one of 2 people who actually completed the homework and the exam review. Most of the them are fresh out of high school, so maybe they just don't get it yet, but I hate being grouped in with them as the "bad" class. 

This. We only had three people show up for an exam last week in my bio class... there are only 7 but still! I don't get why people pay for school to not show up, not pay attention, or learn anything then complain about their bad grades!

I'm just irritated bc ff gave me cross hairs last week and took them away. But I don't understand why!

Cutting the schools grass at 9am because my boss saw some weeds growing. I cut half on Thursday, it rained friday, and will rain tomorrow. So, I have to finish today. It's flucking cold and I am over it. I am done cutting, still have to weed eat.

I got hardly any sleep last night and could not temp because of it. Does anyone know about how many Pre-O temps one needs in order to establish a clear temp shift? I was planning to start this cycle and have already missed three days, but I am only on CD 5. Thoughts?

I don't get the sick thing either. You are sick do not come to school/ work/ have people over/ go places.

I am so lucky I go to a school where most people take their HW/ tests/ everything seriously. I probably won't be as lucky when I switch schools.

My B!tch is it's Monday. Wasn't ready for the weekend to end and go back to a school that makes me sick.

I'm so sick and tired of my co-worker complaining about being sick and tired. It's been 3+ weeks of him telling me and anyone else who will listen about how he is "toughing it out" by being here at work. It's a desk job, it's not physical labor, there is no "toughing it out" being here. Not only that, on Friday, this sickly co-worker was supposed to stay late and let the rest of us go home early as we had done the same for him for the two days prior and Friday was his turn.... well, lunchtime rolls around and he is feeling "faint" and needs to go home, so he does. But not before indulging in his share of pizza from our pizza sales lunch.

I think you need at least 5 or 6 preO temps to get a baseline. I also saw where you said you tossed and turned for a few minutes and didn't temp. In that situation I would temp anyway. As long as you aren't getting up before you temp, it shouldn't rise so much that it would cause a issue. I toss and turn sometimes, too, and it doesn't make much difference for me.

Thank you! I wasn't quite sure. I am actually on CD 6 right now (typo in my initial post). I am hoping that I will still be able to catch my temp shift by starting tomorrow. I am also using OPKs, so hopefully that will help as well.

My brother has been out of town since Thursday morning. He called me to ask if I would feed his cats and chickens. He gets home at 4 this afternoon, is 3.5 hours going to make a difference when it has been 4.5 days?

My b!tch for the day is why the hell won't the OPKs I bought work. Here I am, trying to be more proactive and get a better handle on what my body is doing, and the stupid tools are refusing to cooperate. Four tests, all with some defect. And yes, I have considered that when the only common ground is me, perhaps it is not the tests that are defective. But if that is the case, then FML. 'Cause seriously, how hard is it to POAS?

I am beyond annoyed with these stupid fertile week headaches. I LIVE on Excedrin however, with TTC I have been trying to slow down. Today I have a ShLoad of meetings for work and can't really afford a headache. I took 1 excedrin and I am mad at myself for taking it. I have read that it hurts implantation and I am gearing up to O within 24 hours according to OPK.

BTW the 1 excedrin didn't even take away the pain so now I am just pissed AND suffering! UGGHHHH.

This is more of a confession.
I feel insufficient as a wife when DH does chores and it drives me up the wall. Guess what? DH is home from work today and is doing chores. (I'm at work, TYVM)
DH will be eligible to retire in less than 10 years (although he won't receive a pension for another 15 or so after that). I wonder how I'm going to deal with it.

The only thing that bugs me when DH does the chores is he doesn't do them very well. If you're at work and he is home then I wouldn't feel bad if I was you. Smile

I finally received a response from my coworker who teaches the same kids I do for the part of the week that I am at another school, from an email that I sent on the 7th. She is butt hurt that I told her not to work on the novel study unit that I bought the book for, planned, and have set goals for. I am using this unit as part of my "self" goals for the district. Which means that if she implements it especially if she implements it wrong my results won't be valid.

I'm starting to hate my job. My BFF and I went out to lunch today ... I incidentally got a new cell phone (that was a highlight to the day!) but it was a huge cluster fluck because she couldn't put the phone on the # I was currently using, so now I have new #. So we were gone from work for like an hour and a half. My nosy flucking co-worker who has no life and thinks she needs to control the building .... was like "about time you got back" when I walked by her office to mine. I really just wanted to say "sorry for having a life, you fat marshmallow." But I restrained myself and kept walking.

At least I have my own office bathroom .... and I've banned her from it. So bwahahahaha!
