Mini pill, BFing, and Period?

So I am still nursing L 4-5 times in a 24 hour period.  I have been on the mini pill and have yet to have a period.  I decided to come off the mini pill (partially because I THREW AWAY my prescription by accident ha ha) and am now wondering if I will get a period because I am off the pill or if my body is still just not read?  Does anyone have any experience with this?

    No experience but I think you have a chance of getting a period now.

    BFP #2 9-7-13 EDD 5-22-14. It's a GIRL! DD#2 is on her way.

    I spotted immediately when I stopped but didn't have my first real period for 2 months. I weaned from breast feeding shortly after stopping the mini pill. I was an exclusive pumper when I stopped. My periods were regular as soon as I had my first one.

    No longer nursing (it's been almost 2 months), but still on the mini-pill, and I'm still period-free. And your post made me realize that it's possible that's due to the mini pill. So, thanks for opening my eyes to that!
