Hooray!!!! NBR

I am so excited - our house finally sold!  It has been on the market for a little over 4 months (which isn't terribly long, but has felt like forever) - but we got an offer the other day and signed a preliminary contract.

Annoying part is, they want to close on April 15th.  My due date is the 14th.  What's better than that is the house we found out of state (which we've had a contingent offer on for about a month) wants to close ON my due date (sorry guys, defninitely can't drive 10 hours on my DD).  So, now we just have to rework the date for our new home - but i'm excited for this to be all taken care of!  I was getting worried our house wouldn't sell before we lost the house we love in SC.

 Now, I am just dreading moving in with my in-laws in the mean time. I'm even more dreading the fact that my mother wants us to stay with her half the time.  I appreciate our parents, I really do, but I was looking forward to having OUR family together (especially since we lived at home when we had DS 5 years ago...).

But hooray for closing this chapter and getting ready to start a new one!

    Yay, congrats!!! 

    And my sympathies with moving in with the in-laws during the transition.  I'm currently living with mine while our house is under a renovation (thank GOODNESS they also have a small lake house out of state, so have been spending a lot of time there as well to give us some space), and have been since before Thanksgiving.  Construction isn't scheduled to be complete until the week after my EDD.  But I have to admit, they were in town this past weekend and it was really nice to have another set of hands to play with DD and cook a few meals!  It may not be so bad when you are about to pop and don't want to do anything, or have a newborn to take care of at the same time.
