Hi-
I hear rave reviews about the city mini double and I'm thinking about going with it. Can anyone of you tell me if the city mini allows 2 carseats to snap in it?? I really don't want to get TWO strollers. I know many people get the double snap and go, but if we can avoid it, then I'll be thrilled.
TIA
Re: city mini double stroller question!
I am pretty sure it only fits one. By the time you buy two adapters it is about the same price as the double snap and go.
On a side note I just bought a 2011 orange and gray one on albeebaby.com for $300. The other colors are a little more money but still a good deal.
That's what I was afraid of!
That's the one I have been looking at....how do you like it? $300 is a great price...at BRU they are $400...granted it's the 2012 model. But who cares!
Thanks! Yes, I have browsed through CL but haven't looked really. As much as I HATE to buy two strollers looks I must. I don't know how much we'll be venturing out with them but I loved being able to carry DS in the carrier and zip around without waking him up!
We like the city mini but if we were only getting one stroller we would have bought the GT version.
Agreed. The DSNGs also hold their resale value well since it's just a frame; it doesn't tend to show much signs of wear. You could probably buy one used for $30-40 and resell it for maybe $5-10 less than you paid for it. So worth it!
I'll def try to get a used one...any idea if they hold any carseats? Graco, Britax, etc?
I think it is impossible to just have one stroller. My twins are 11 weeks old and we already have 3. (sigh). I bought my DSNG used off CL for $40 and I could not live without it. i use it with my Chicco Keyfit 30s.
I also have the BJCM double which we will start using soon. And I have a single Chicco Liteway for solo trips.
