Team Blue for #2!

We just found out that Nolan is going to have a little brother. I am so excited! DH really had his heart set on a girl, but I secretly wanted another boy (although I would have been happy with either.)

The only thing is, we are really struggling with #2's name. We had a girl name picked out, but obviously we can't use that. We already used the boy name we loved with Nolan. I know a lot of people wait until they go to the hospital to decide on a name, but I don't know if I can do that. I am having a hard time feeling connected to #2 as it is, and I think naming him would help this whole thing become more real to me.

Right now, we're tossing around Griffin, River, Gavin, and Sawyer. None of them are really standing out to me though. Gah!

Congrats! My friend has a Nolan and his older brothers name is Eli. Have you put Nolan's name in the baby name finder and then they come up with names that go with it?

Congrats!!!! 2 boys is the best Smile I am not biased or anything. We had a really hard time naming Kellen (#2) because we both loved the name Logan (#1) so much. I also had a hard time bonding with Kellen while pregnant, I think especially because he was a boy and I just couldn't imagine a little boy of mine without imagining Logan. But, oh my gosh when I first held Kellen... that instant moment of love was even more intense because I wasn't even expecting it.

As for your names, for some reason I feel like Gavin goes best with Nolan. I don't know why, I just like them together.

Congratulations! I feel like we will have the same difficulty if we have another girl. We talk about names, but I don't love any of them as much as I love Lucia. Good luck with your choice! I am sure you will find your perfect name!!

Thanks, everybody! We are very excited. We decided last night to put the name decision on the back burner for a month and talk about it again then. We've pretty much narrowed it down to Gavin and Sawyer though.

Love all of your names and congrats!! I was leaning towards wanting a girl for us for 2 but also dreamed about having boys so close and dressing them alike and watching them wrestle with DH, so I'm a little jealous! Congrats!
