You should definitely call your doctor and let him/her know. Try not to worry or think of worst case scenarios. Talk to your doctor! That's what they are there for. It may very well be nothing but you won't know until you speak to the doctor.
LOTS of women have bleeding and go on to have healthy pregnancies, so i wouldn't worry. (Ok, i would worry, but i would try not to!) I would put a call in to the dr., though.

Wouldn't try to worry much unless is like a period and you need a pad and its bright, deep red. I would call your doctor some doctors will want you to come in to put your mind at ease and others will just make a note of it. I had spotting at 6 weeks an 9 weeks it only lasted 24hrs but I saw my doctor both times to put my mind at ease, and everything turned out fine.

If it continues into tomorrow, I would call your Dr. Even if just for piece of mind. I myself had some pink on the tp when I wiped earlier and having suffered a mc before, am going nuts right now.
Like PPs said, spotting can be very normal...but still scary all the same!
The main worry is regular cramping with bleeding. Many many women bleed for various reasons during the first trimester - following sex, exercise, straining, or yeast infection. I bled varying degrees during two pregnancies (and those are my two children now) and it's very hard not to worry.
There's a varying type too - brown blood, which is old blood dislodged for some reason, pink blood only when you wipe, bright red bleeding, clots. Fresh blood with clots and cramping is often indicative of a miscarriage.
It's hard not to worry, but I honestly don't think what you described is concerning at this point. Keep us posted though.
