For all the moms whose babies just turned 6 months either this week or last is your baby sitting up yet? My baby is 6 months today

(ahh its going so fast) and he is still not sitting unassisted i was wondering who else is still waiting.

He was on the 10th and he's not sitting unassisted for more than two seconds.

DD was 6 months on the 17th. Some days she'll sit for 5 min just fine and others its 2 seconds and she topples over.

H is just barely sitting up. He's still very wobbly and only makes it for a few seconds.

Ds has been sitting unassisted since 4.5 months. He's a pro at it now.

He is so far from being mobile though, which I know a lot of babies on this board are doing or attempting to do.

DD was 6 months on the 13th and she's not yet. She is close and will for about 15 seconds, but she's so busy playing!

DD turned 6 months on the 6th and has been sitting up since about 5 months and is crawling now.

V turned 6 months on the 20th. Literally on that day while on the table waiting for the doctor she became pretty stable. She been doing great this week. She can sit by herself for a while. But I still don't feel comfortable leaving her alone to sit.
But she doesn't roll over very well yet. If I put her on her side she will go over.

DD turned 6 months a couple days ago. She can tripod sit for a few seconds, but that's it. She has no desire to do it any longer or to sit unassisted. It is a 6-8 month milestone, so they still have plenty of time!

depends on the day. she'll do it for a few secconds one day and a minute or more another. then again she does the same thing with rolling. she'll roll one day, and not the next.

B was 6 months on the 20th and has been sitting for a few weeks. He has no desire to roll though. He has a few times but doesn't care. He's trying to scoot now. I wouldn't worry like PP's have said, they all do things at their own pace!

6 mos on the 22nd. Babyboy has been sitting up unassisted for a while now. He plays sitting up and is pretty mobile (more like up on all fours then catapults himself to where he needs to go)....

At the end of the day, they'll all be running around and keeping us running after them in no time! They truly do things at their own pace...

6 m on the 16th. He's been sitting on his own for a few weeks. He gets better every day but he still topples if he looks at something and his head angles too much.

He doesn't really roll though. I think he has rolled back to belly twice and he got mad cause his arms were stuck.

Ds1 was the exact same way. He sat early but crawled on the later end, 9.5 m. They're all different!

B just started to sit up by himself this past week. Sometimes he still puts his hands out to tripod but most of the time he sits straight up and doesn't topple. DS1 didn't sit up unassisted til 7 months.

My LO will be 6 months tomorrow. He's been sitting unassisted for about a a week and a half. (But I still have only seen him roll over once! Every baby does things at different times.)

Same! 6 months on the 12th.. She either sits fine or topples over too

Kirsten turned 6 months on the 19th has been sitting since Christmas and pull herself to standing. She's nuts!! Every baby is different your LO will get there.
