Bumbo chairs

So I bought lo a bimbo chair and he seems to like it. After buying this I started thinking... What does this seat do that's so awesome!? Help with lo sitting up correctly??? Anyone else use these?

We have one but are waiting a few more weeks to ensure DS has full head control...I don't want to strain he neck.

So I'm not sure exactly how/if it works...or if my LO will like it. Hopefully he does. I'm hoping he will sit and chill in it in the middle of the living room floor (carpeted) when I'm just steps away in the kitchen cleaning.

It doesn't actually do anything other than sit them up before they're ready to. It doesn't help them learn how to sit or how to sit correctly or practice anything. I'm really not a fan of them to be honest though :shrug:

I think its just another option to keep them contained when you need your hands free. I didn't get one this time. My friend uses it as a travel highchair.

We're going to start using one around 6 months, since DS can't support his head just yet.

if your baby is 2 months old (judging by your ticker) he is WAAAAY too young to be using that thing!!! they are for when they can support their heads on their own. most ppl use it as a highchair for feeding since it comes with a tray.
