Moving from a BFP thread..

I get that TTC is emotional, frustrating and, for some, a long process, but this board is not called TTC- more than a year and you must have posted X amount of times in order to comment.
You are all adults that act like high school girls.
Ever heard of kill them with kindness. If you're justified, as is the case with this post, let someone say it once and MOVE ON! Do you feel better now that you have ALL mocked or scolded the person who posted?!?
I bet I just made your day because now you all have more material.
Anyways, don't waste your breath, I won't be returning. Not all, but a lot, of you are too intense for me. Good luck TTC, I really do wish you all the blessing of a BFP and a H&H 9 months.

I'm confused as to what post you were actually reading when making this comment. Nobody was acting like high school girls until you came in complaining in someone's BFP thread - The dialogue between Polska and others was pretty civil. What's your beef?

coming back. Fiddlesticks. I totally eye rolled the comment. Seems maybe her knickers were in a knot and used the BFP post as a feeble attempt to call out basically the whole board. Probably lurking around to see how much muck would supposedly fly. hobbies are a good thing.

The sad thing is, it hasn't even been a full week. Lol

This might be the shortest amount of time a poster was active and needed a bump break.

This 100% Polk jumped the gun with trying to call out the OP for being a drive-by. I instantly rolled my eyes. Not every bumpie that posts that you may not recognize is a drive bye. Dome go on hiatuses from the bump then come back. Not only that but there has been a few posts that seem like Polk was trying to talk for everyone on the board which really irritates me. I speak for myself or will piggyback of posters I agree with.

(FTFY). This is why I never say anything unless I am positive it is a drive by, and even then I only comment the odd time. I have only been lurking/posting since last summer/fall. There have been lots of "bumpies" before me so I never assume that anyone I don't recognize must be new.

I am just confused as to why everyone is still calling me out after I apologized numerous times. I tried to explain myself, and acknowledged my mistake. Is there something else I am missing?

I think I'm getting soft but at first I could see where Polska was coming from. A few BFPs got beep beep'd this week so a noob reading/lurking might think that's the norm. Mylittlebee20 hasn't posted here since June 2012 if Google is pulling up latest posts and even then I don't think she was a regular poster by any means. I'd beep beep her. then Polska apologized instead of getting butthurt like other noobs (*coughsemcough*) so I'd chalk her up to noob being noob and she probably learned to not snark a BFP just for being a BFP again

Thanks Shay. I am not easily butthurt, and I appreciate people calling me out if need be. I see how I jumped the gun. At first I legitimately thought she was a lazy poster, but if y'all say she's been posting for a while, then that's fine. Hopefully everyone can accept my apologies.

It is one thing to beep beep a drive by, but it is another thing to claim that drive bys are "...difficult for many on this board to hear this and not feel a sense of discouragement" when she has been here for a minute.

That is that part that irked me. I don't think that is a solid description of how the board feels about drive bys. But then again, I have never had deep discussions with others about it. I see drive bys more as a AWish move.

Yeah, I didn't agree with that part either - I just figured the mentality that saying that was okay stemmed from the "nobody cares about your BFP/would you go into a room of women you don't know and announce your pregnancy" wording from other drive-bys. I know that line doesn't speak for the board at all

I went back to the thread and still have no idea where sem is coming from, too bad she's never coming back after sharing that infinite wisdom and changing the whole board. [:/]
