NTTGPR: Help me decide!

I want to buy DH another gift as an extension to Valentine's Day- tickets to a concert. We are country music fans and don't get a ton of exposure to it here in Chicago so that's where this is headed.

I can choose between Tim McGraw, Brad Paisley, and Luke Bryan. Luke's tickets are the most expensive, Brad's are the cheapest. Brad and Tim play in May, Luke not until June. We have seen Tim and Brad play in concert and they are both amazing.

If you had to choose, which would you go with and why?

I've seen all 3 live. Luke Bryan's shows are a blast. He's a nut!! We saw him first in a local bar before he was somebody and we see him every time he comes to town.

The only time I've seen Tim was when he had a broken foot. He just kind of stood there. I've seen Brad a few times & I love his shows, too.

All that said, we bought a Megaticket this year so we could catch all 7 of the country concerts that are coming to Charlotte. I couldn't choose one or two, so I picked all.

I agree about seeing Luke, since you haven't seen him.

However, I must admit, my heartstrings pull toward Tim. And to give full disclosure, I'm not a fan of Brad Paisley's music.

Like Bryan gets my vote, too! He just has so much energy, his concerts feel like one big party.

He's the only guy I'm allowed to cheat on H with.

I'd choose Luke Bryan but obviously you can't go wrong with Tim. I'm sure both put on great shows. I'm not a huge fan of Brad Paisley. Do you know who the opening acts are?

Brad Paisley all the way. I know you said you have already seen him, however he just puts on such a great show! Also, his musical talent is one of the truest in the industry. Don't get me wrong, I am not knocking Tim or Luke, but Brad is truly gifted and I love hearing that man play stuff that isn't on his records.

I know that Tim is at the Tinley Park Center (or whatever they call it now).

Joe's on Weed Street tends to have a lot of country concerts. Are any one of them there? It is a cozy little venue. I would go to the concert that is there.

If not, check them out for more country options.

oh man that's tough. there is absolutely no wrong choice! I think I would have to choose luke though. it'd be a blast to go to any of them!

That's a hard choice!!! I absolutely love Luke Bryan but I would be so happy to go to any of them! Maybe go for Luke since you haven't seen him yet?

Great openers! I saw Thompson Square and they were good, very humble and sweet. I adore Lee Brice.

I would go with Luke also. On a side note, I am from Chicago too, and there is a new country music venue in Logan Square. Congress Theatre. I haven't been there yet, but I've heard it advertised a lot! Hopefully Chicago will get some more country music talent soon.

I would choose Tim McGraw only because I find him yummy. I've seen him in concert (with Faith) and he was great, but the tickets were over priced.
