Hi!! I just got into my 3rd trimester with my second daughter and as the time gets closer, I'm getting more and more nervous. With my first, I had to have a C-section. I went to the hospital the moment it felt like my water broke (1st mistake) then they gave me pitocin cause labor had, in fact, not started, nor had my water completely broken. then being trigger happy, i got a epidural asap. I dialated to a 9, almost 10 but kept going back and forth from 9-8, which was the reason for the c-section. my daughter was just fine, no trama that made it an emergency to get her out. With my 2nd, I am Desperate to have a VBAC. Recovery after my C-section was horrible, and felt like months til i was back to me. I dont want to go through that again, so I really want to hear others stories about how they got in the position of having a c-section in the first place then how they tried and either succeeded or failed their vbac. any feedback is great feedback

i want to be as prepared as a mama can be, which we all know is really hard when it comes to having babies haha

looking forward to hearing your stories!
Re: want to hear stories about successful VBACS :)
There are stories on the blog:

I have absolute confidence that you can have a VBAC. No question in my mind because your history and your interest in being prepared.
I've been LOVING the Birth Without Fear website and there is a category for VBACs with tons of birth stories: https://birthwithoutfearblog.com/category/bwf-topics/vbac/
I would like to submit my HBAC story to that site. It's on another website, mothering.com...linked below.

Thank you!! I'm super new to this, so if i dont reply the right way to this, please bear with me
i was so trigger happy with everything, and really thought i was prepared but i wasn't at all. i got any meds when i could get them right away. didn't even know that i could push that far dialated, even now didnt know that. but i the dr i had didn't have rights to the nearest hospital, so i got the dr on call and i nievely trusted her. im trying to get as educated as i can on what i can do to have a successful vbac. if it ends up in a c-section i wont be completely devastated but i dont want to make the same mistakes i did the first time.
Also, ill definitely check both of those websites out!!
Ditto the VBAC bumpies blog for stories.
Reading successful VBAC stories really helped me get into a positive place to prepare for my own.
