I got my first "Jack needs a baby sister" tonight. And it begins... sigh.

Can I do a, "who isnt TTC?" thread? Im feeling all by my lonesome.

eta- I should say "not TTC in the foreseeable future?"

I got Mirena last month. I don't think we'll be TTC any sooner than Fall 2014. Sometimes I want another baby sooner...and then I remember morning sickness, killer heartburn, labor, and the first six weeks with a newborn, and then I'm okay with waiting!

Not TTC!!!!

The memories of coming home from the hospital after having DS and just sitting on the couch crying for no reason are still pretty fresh. And i was one of those people who did not enjoy being pregnant - AND i'm really struggling to lose weight.

I was just thinking about starting this exact thread earlier today! I have zero desire to have a 2nd child any time soon. I just don't think we could handle it financially or emotionally. I borderline hated being pregnant, though I slightly miss some aspects now. And I've had a pretty difficult time adjusting to motherhood even though DS is a fairly easy baby. I doubt we'd get lucky and have another "easy" baby and I just wouldn't be able to handle it. Maybe I'll change my mind in a few years, cuz we planned to have 2. We'll see. I feel a little better after starting school and DS starting daycare a couple weeks ago. Maybe I just wasn't meant to be a SAHM.

I'm completely disinterested in TTC #2! I feel like I get asked at least once a week about when Ethan is getting a sibling though. Pregnancy was a blur of nonstop vomiting for me and I'm in no hurry to repeat that. Ethan is so incredibly busy I can't imagine having another LO.

Nope. Jack isn't getting a sibling until he's about 3 or 4. He's an easy baby, but either way it's still a ton of work. I can't imagine having 2 right now! And I think we would go bankrupt buying all those diapers! LOL

Not trying here! With all the stress in finding childcare and DH and I barely having time together, it's definitely not happening soon. In fact, we might be one and doners...I just want to enjoy this time with DS.. It's already going too fast!

Yeah the first 6 weeks is definitely bittersweet...thinking about that makes me very content with my life now as it is...

I need a couple of years! I got my paragard when DS was 6 months. I plan on keeping it in at least until he turns 2, maybe a little longer.

I actually miss being pregnant and the newborn squish, but I want to enjoy DS and try to build our savings back up. Also I don't think I could handle 2u2. Major props to all the mamas that do it!

Oh and I think you have to have sex to TTC.. not much of that going on here LOL poor DH.
