graco snugride 40 w/ snugrider frame?

Would anyone happen to know if the new Graco Snugride 40 will fit on the Graco Snugrider stroller frames?  I'm torn between registering for the Snugride 35 and the Snugride 40, and I'd hate to deal with the hassle of needing to return the 40 because it's too big for the frame.  Any of the store reviews I read only reference a Snugride 35 or smaller.  Thanks!!

    If you are talking about the Graco Click Connect 40 then it will only work with a Click Connect stroller.  I don't think the Snugrider is Click Connect. The car seat and stroller both need to say Click Connect to be compatible.

    You are correct! And op, this is one seat you really need to try in your car. The overhang in some vehicles is more than what's allowed. Head on over to car-seat.org and ask if it does.

    The 40 click connect will work on the new Snugrider Elite frame. I remember seeing it on the box when I saw it at Toys R Us. https://www.gracobaby.com/Products/Pages/ProductDetails.aspx?ProductID=1793955
