Hi ladies! I'm newly prego (6 weeks), new to Minnesota, and am diabetic so I'm looking for a high risk OB. Who do you recommend? I live in Plymouth, so someone around the northwest would be ideal! Thanks for your help!!
I would highly recommend Stephanie Rice or Lisa Baker from OBGYN MN. Here is the website https://www.obgynmn.com/ It takes a while to get in to see either of them but they are very good. They rotate locations between Edina and Maple Grove Clinic. I went to both and I loved Maple Grove Office more. I just live too far from it now and have to go to Edina. I hesitated about Dr. Rice and switched doctors as we couldn't get pregnant for a while and I just wanted somebody new to take a look at my records too. I finally was able to get pregnant after Clomid treatment and at the end of the first trimester, I decided to switch back to Dr. Rice as I realized how great she was compared to the other doctor I was seeing at another clinic. She is very knowledgable and proactive in communication and has a lot of experience working with high-risk pregnancies like mine. Good luck!
