Bad rib cage pain 3 mos later...

Hi everyone. I have had pretty bad rib cage pain intermittently since I had my C-section 3 months ago. It is isolated to my right side and radiates from the front of my torso to my back. Today the pain seems much worse.

When I first mentioned it to my OB, he attributed it to the fact that I was recovering from the flu. But that was 2 mos ago.

Has anyone else had anything like this? Is it normal?

    How was your LO sitting when they were in your belly?  I was constantly shoving DS out of my upper right rib cage, and while trying to push him out I kept getting these air pockets in my rib, I kind of have the feeling his foot was stuck in my right ribs right under my boob.

    Anyway, I had severe rib pain PP, to the point where it hurt to laugh and take a deep breath. No at almost 8 months out it's still a little tender/numb to the touch.

    I asked my OB if it could possibly be a cracked rib, and he laughed at me!  He said he's never heard of a baby causing their mom's rib to crack.  He said it was probably just sore from all of the pressure during pregnancy and birth.

    Does any of that sound the similar to what you are going through?

    Mirena removed 9/13/2018 after 6 years
    BFP 11/11/2018 | MC @ 5.5 weeks on Thanksgiving
    July 2019 - Diagnosed with Secondary Unexplained IF
    August 2019 - 2.5 mg of Letrozole = Never Ovulated so Trigger and IUI were cancelled
    9/30/2019 - IUI #1 (5 mg of Letrozole + Trigger) =  BFP but Betas showed CP @ 4 weeks
    10/28/2019 - IUI #2 (7.5mg of Letrozole + Trigger) = BFN
    11/25/2019 - IUI #3 (7.5mg of Letrozole, Trigger + Crinone after IUI) = BFN
    12/24/2019 - IUI #4 (7.5mg of Letrozole + Crinone after IUI) = BFN
    1/24/2020 - IUI #5 (50mg of Clomid + Trigger + Crinone after IUI) = BFN and an Ovarian Cyst
    3/2/2020 - Taking a break to reset/NTNP
    11/1/2020 - At peace with where things are in life and are no long actively TTC. Whatever happens will happen and it will all be okay. <3

    You know now that you mention it his feet I believe were up beneath my ribs on the right side. And he kicked like crazy. So maybe that?s it. It?s just the way the pain radiates from the front to the back and sometimes to the middle of my chest that freaks me out a bit. I guess I?ll wait it out and see what happens.
